It’s caused by a variety of the Herpes virus. I have never heard of home remedies, although there are prescription ones that work.
The virus is with you for life, so expect outbreaks whenever you are stressed or your immune system is weakened.
Well cold sores in your mouth are actually herpies! i know ross right! It’s not the STD kind though! Everyone has them so don’t worry. you can get them from bighting the inside of your outh on accident or sharing drinks! And milk helps the stinging and the soreness!
Inside the mouth, they’re called chancre sores and they’re caused by bacteria. They are NOT cold sores.
Outside the mouth they are cold sores, also called Herpes. The virus lives in the nerves around your mouth and cause breakouts usually because of stress, fever, exposure to the sun, etc.
You can’t get rid of them forever but there is an excellent non prescription product called Abreva that shortens the time you have them.
It is caused by a common herpes virus( no it is not the SExually transmitted disease type) that most people have - many of who are prone to outbreaks.. ask yoru doctor for a prescription which can help -other wise as your pharmicists for a recommendation of over teh counter meds/topicals.
can you say herpes
Herpes is right, but though it seems not to be a popular statement, you can get both of the varieties of herpes on your mouth and your genitals. And there are things you can do to ease the duration and intensity.
Some people have used these items and never had a break out again. 1st there are some things that cause it to come out from it’s little rest in your spinal column… some are chocolate, coffee, peanuts, to much sun, stress, other illnesses, etc. As you are getting the burning feeling on your lips and maybe the irritability that preceded an out break you can start taking Lysine, 1000 mg up to 3 times a day. This by it’s self works for many people, sometimes stopping the out break from continuing, no bumps, no blisters, no soars… Some people only get a shortened out break. Then there is Cats Claw.. an herb from Central American vine called Una De Gato. (Claw of cat) You take up to 3 pills three times a day. This helps your immune system fight off the virus. Some times 3 at a time will upset your stomach or cause heartburn, then you can take less at a time and more often.
If you are really interested in natural remedied for this then you can do some research and find a few more things that work. Aclyvor (i don’t know how to spell it)is not an option as far as I am concerned, but I did the research and came to my own conclusions (causes liver damage, etc,,)… http://www.cdc.gov/std/Herpes/STDFact-Herpes.htm This site has a few good facts..
